Mike’s Sunday Divisional Picks

So I went 0-2 yesterday due to a back door cover and the fact that Andrew Luck took a few Geno Smith pills before the game. In times like these, some would say to get up from your chair and pack it in. But Big Dogs double down, so here are my picks for today’s games:

49ers at Panthers: Panthers +1

Everyone loves the Niners today based on their playoff experience. Expectations were high for San Fran this year, but despite a great record deep down you know they’ve been a disappointment. And while winning in Lambeau is never easy, I’m not ready to heap a ton a praise on a win over the 8-7-1 Packers. This will be a great game, as the spread indicates, but I see the Panthers’ D frustrating and containing Kaepernick like they did in their regular season meeting when they held him to 91 yards passing and 16 yards rushing.
Pick: Carolina 17 San Francisco 13

Chargers at Broncos: Broncos -8

I know all about Peyton’s playoff struggles, and his poor track record as a home favorite throughout his career. And I’ve been high on the Chargers all year long. But this one will get out of hand. McCoy has done a great job this year and Rivers continues to be underrated, but this will be Peyton’s day all the way.
Pick: Denver 38 Chargers 24

Moreno is the key to the Denver game. Denver will win 28-17 will be the score. Moreno Will run for 109 yards

  2. First off, a ten is a much better hand to double down with….not an 11. With a ten, an ace or ten will do the trick. With an 11, an ace hurts you.
But what can you expect from a guy who goes 0-4 over the weekend.
And thanks for the fade material…you made me 40,000 dollars this weekend.
