Mike’s Conference Championship Picks

Ok. So I went 0-4 last weekend. But this weekend I have 2 LOCKS. Tell your bookie your good for it, and throw a rent payment on it...

New England at Denver: Denver -5; under 57

Like I said on this week’s show I think this one is going to be a blowout one way or the other. Everyone has been hyping those game all week, but Denver is the better team. When it comes to the Peyton-Brady debate, I’m on team Brady. But beyond Brady, this Pats team is average at best. I see the Broncos getting on a roll right away, and this one gets ugly early.

Pick: Denver 38 New England 17.

San Francisco at Seattle: Seattle -3.5; over 40

The experts are all over the Niners this week. Superior talent. Better head coach. A defense that can shut down Beast Mode. A struggling Russell Wilson… Those are all valid points, but Seattle’s 12th man, as overhyped as it is, is a difference maker. And Russell Wilson didn’t forget how to play quarterback. Seattle will get a defensive TD, and their special teams will give San Fran a long field to play on all game. This is the more exciting game on Sunday, and it will live up to the hype, but the Seahawks will precise.

Pick: Seattle 27 San Francisco 20

Time management is key to a Denver victory. Keep the ball out of Brady hands and maximize possession. Look for Decker to have a huge game 125 yds. DENVER 24 PATS 21
